INSOMNIUM
The number one name in Finnish melodeath, Insomnium, has rooted its place at the top of its genre with its epic music. The more than 20-year career of the group with an uncompromising attitude has taken the group from Joensuu to concert stages all over the world, and the performance of Provinssi is a rare treat.
Insomnium’s concept album “Anno 1696”, to be released on February 24th, is based on Niilo Seppänen’s short story, where the lyrics move through historical landscapes chastened by witch hunts and years of hunger. There will be a perfect contrast to a bright summer day!
