Provinssi – the Festival of People – will be held again in the beginning of summer from 27th to 29th of June, 2024. During the three day festival, Seinäjoki city is visited by a huge amount of people who enjoy music, art and Finnish summer. We are looking for a versatile and high-quality group of vendors to create the best festival of summer with us! All vendors will be contacted personally. There is a limited number of vendor spots at the festival and camping area and unfortunately we are not able to accept all applications. Please make sure to fill out the application carefully and take into account our criterias for vendors.

Below is a list of criteria to act as a vendor at the Provinssi festival. We appreciate previous recommendations from other festivals.

The vendor’s ability to prepare high-quality and consistent food throughout the weekend while serving hygienically, efficiently and cheerfully. We appreciate previous recommendations from other major festivals.
Our assessment of how interesting our visitors would find the point of sale’s brand (name, visual implementation, story, values) and the portions offered (please make sure that the menu is carefully presented in the application).
How well do the products at the point of sale complement our selection? We are particularly interested in products that add value to the entire festival’s food selection – are you offering something different compared to other vendors?
The ability to offer high-quality vegetarian dishes – preferably also vegan – is one of the conditions for being selected. You also get points for taking into account food allergens and other special diets. NOTE! Every food vendor is required to offer at least one vegan food portion in their selection.
Raw materials: We especially value operators who commit to using local and organically produced ingredients.

ABOUT PRICING:

All sales at Provinssi festival and camping site must be carried out with specific payment terminals. The payment terminals are rented by the official partner of the festival.

Provinssi has an incentive for food vendors to use more climate-friendly raw materials. You can get a discount for your food vendor or a food truck spot based on the menu and products as follows.

Menu without red meat, -1% discount on the percentage based on turnover of the sales spot rent (21%)
Meat-free menu (menu without red meat, poultry, seafood), -2% discount on the percentage based on turnover of the sales spot rent (20%)
Vegan menu, -3% discount on the percentage based on turnover of the sales spot rent (19%)

Otherwise prices are determined as follows.

FOOD VENDOR ON THE FESTIVAL SITE:

Organiser charges 22% of turnover (total sales after VAT), at least 4700 EUR + VAT.

5x5m space, tent with flooring, electricity (total consumption 30 kWh; 1 pcs 32A (3 phase), water and waste management are included in the price.

Tent and flooring is not included in the price. Tent (5mx5m) with flooring price for the vendor is 800 EUR + VAT.

FOOD TRUCK ON THE FESTIVAL SITE:

Organiser charges 22% of turnover (total sales after VAT), at least 4700 EUR + VAT.

Electricity (total consumption 30 kWh; 1 pcs 32A (3 phase), water and waste management are included in the price.

CANDY/SNACK VENDOR ON THE FESTIVAL SITE:

Organiser charges 22% of turnover (total sales after VAT), fixed minimum amount will be priced on a case-by-case basis.Electricity (total consumption 30 kWh; 1 pcs 32A (3 phase), water and waste management are included in the price.

OTHER VENDOR SPOT:

Priced on a case-by-case basis.
