Vinski Valos: runoilijan vastaanotto

Vinski Valos is a multidisciplinary, glow-in-the-dark typewriter poet, guide, visual artist, and spoken word producer. They collect words and spin them into textile-like forms. When poetry reaches between people and into their fingertips, Valos ignites it like phosphorus. At their poet’s reception, Valos writes custom poems on a typewriter for you to take with you, on any topic you choose. Take a seat at the poet’s table! Valos has been performing with their typewriter since 2016, starting in Berlin, and has also compiled a book of poetry. Breik has been involved in more than ten DJ collectives across Finland, organizing underground music events of all sizes, while also playing over a thousand shows from Kuopio to Helsinki and Berlin, all the way to the mountains of Nepal. In recent years, he has focused especially on the distinctive rhythms of the new wave of Finnish “junka” and UK-driven ragga jump-up.

At Provinssi’s Jytälato, Breik, together with an MC handling mic duties, will deliver two different sets on Friday and Saturday: high-energy party drum and bass packed with Finnish classics, and ragga jump-up mayhem!
