Lotta Ahtinen Named Production Manager for Provinssi 2026

Lotta Ahtinen, a versatile professional in the events industry, has been appointed Production Manager for Provinssi 2026, taking place in Seinäjoki from June 25–27, 2026. She will step into the role while current Production Manager Peppi Arrimo is on parental leave, leading the production team for next year’s festival.

Ahtinen has been working with music events since 2003 and has been involved with festivals like Kesärauha and Pori Jazz. She’s also served as Production Manager for Tampere’s Kulttuurikamari venues – Pakkahuone, Klubi, and Tavara-asema. Alongside her broad production experience, she brings strong expertise in event safety, accessibility, and equality.

“I’m really grateful and excited to be part of building the Festival of the People. Provinssi, as a modern large-scale event, is a one-of-a-kind mix of local and national music festival heritage, a strong volunteer tradition, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that invites every visitor, volunteer, and worker to be part of it,” Ahtinen says.

“It’s super inspiring to work with an experienced pro like Lotta. Provinssi’s production is in great hands for next year too!” says Festival Director Ville Koivisto.

Ahtinen has also served as a harassment contact person at Provinssi for years. For the past two years, her organization TAVATA Ry has brought the Provinssikaveri tent to the festival, based on their Keikkakaveri (Gig Buddy) concept. Social responsibility is something Ahtinen cares deeply about:

“Provinssi is for everyone, and it should truly feel that way. We’ll definitely keep working actively to make sure the event is genuinely accessible to all – no matter their health or ability,” she adds.
