The undisputed legend of electronic music, The Prodigy (UK), has been confirmed for the lineup of Provinssi, taking place 25–27 June 2026.
The Prodigy’s sound—an explosive fusion of techno, breakbeat, and punk—has been redefining the boundaries of electronic music for over three decades. The raw, hypnotic energy of their 1992 debut album Experience evolved into an even more textured and distinctive sonic landscape on their definitive breakthrough record Music for the Jilted Generation (1994). The band, now a cultural icon, reached stratospheric global fame with their 1997 third album The Fat of the Land. The iconic hits lifted from these landmark albums—Voodoo People, No Good (Start the Dance), Firestarter, and Breathe—have embedded themselves into the collective consciousness of multiple generations. The Prodigy recently announced they are working on new music, which founding member Liam Howlett describes as a return to their deeper evil rave roots.
