Known as a bold innovator of Finnish rap, ibe will be performing at Törnävansaari on Friday, June 26! The artist, who recently performed at the sold-out Veikkaus Arena, has established himself among the most significant and visionary artists of his generation with his exceptionally open and honest music, which ibe himself describes as a kind of open diary.

ibe made his breakthrough into the Finnish rap music scene in 2017 with his single Eurovisiot, released in collaboration with Kube. His third album, Ibelius (2019), cemented the Helsinki-based artist’s position among the top names in the Finnish music scene. The artist, who has won awards including Rap Album of the Year and Rap Artist of the Year at the Emma Awards, has built up an extensive and stylistically rich body of work over the years, which has been warmly received by fans and critics alike. The latest example of this is his eighth album, X, released in October, which Klang’s Aku Havukainen describes as follows: “In all his mystique, Ibe has at least created something exceptional – a front-row artist who doesn’t care about rules or expectations.
