BÄMÄ

The core of the BÄMÄ collective, blending pop, rap, and club music, consists of artists Nelli Milan, Helena Routa, satu, and Tiia Karoliina. With a feminist approach, BÄMÄ combines various elements to kick misogyny in Finnish rap to the curb, clearing the path and shaking up the music scene by challenging its stagnant and toxic attitudes, all while not forgetting the importance of having fun. After captivating the festival audience with their lively performance at Provinssi last summer, BÄMÄ returns to Törnävänsaari armed with even more bangers, such as “Kaiken takana on bämä” (Behind Everything is BÄMÄ) and “Voimaantunu” (Empowered).
