Ulla Pirttijärvi & Ulda builds a bridge between modern and traditional Sámi culture and between the past and present world. The North Sámi artist, Ulla Pirttijärvi began her successful career in the 1980s with the Angelin Tytöt, founded the band Ulda in 2009, whose rich soundscape offers Provinssi audiences an unforgettable musical journey in the soft light of a summer evening. The internationally acclaimed Ulla Pirttijärvi & Ulda consists of composer-violinist Pessi Jouste, Marko Jouste (guitar), Elias Nieminen (drums) and Uula Jouste (bass and keyboards).
