Provinssi ❤ The Future
Provinssi’s environmental plan and environmental program have been updated for 2022-2024.
In our environmental plan, we have set as our next goals influencing our stakeholders, reducing the waste generated in Camp Provinssi to half of the current level, and significantly reducing logistics and traffic emissions, while communicating all environmental activities as transparently as possible. The goals are to be achieved in the summer of 2024 in Provinssi.

Provinssi ❤ Influencing
The greatest environmental act possible for an event is to influence its visitors.
Provinssi is aware of its role and status as a significant major event that has the opportunity to extend the effects of its actions widely. Therefore, Provinssi wants to offer its festival customers and stakeholders information on the most sustainable choices both at the festival and outside the event.
Provinssi ❤ Waste Reduction
Provinssi has set a goal to reduce the amount of waste generated in Camp Provinssi by half. To illustrate, every year tons of usable tents, other camping equipment, food and clothes are abandoned at the campsite. Provinssi wants to reach the goal by 2024.
Provinssi ❤ Ecological Transport
The largest part of Provinssi’s carbon footprint consists of emissions from passenger travel and logistics. However, it is impossible to organize a festival without people coming to the event! However, as a festival customer, you can choose more sustainable modes of transportation and significantly reduce the carbon footprint caused by the festival, as well as your own environmental impact.
