Gettomasa, one of the leading names in Finnish rap and an Emma Award winner, shook his fans’ world in January by announcing his return — and will, as expected, also appear at Provinssi. The artist has cemented his position as one of the most important trailblazers in Finnish hip hop. Gettomasa’s intense live energy and uncompromising expression have made him an artist who resonates powerfully with audiences regardless of genre.

Having climbed to the top of Finnish rap through determined hard work, Gettomasa is best known for his strong catalogue, including the seven-times-platinum streaming megahits Shamppanjadieetillä and Silmät, as well as Muijii stadis, which has surpassed six-times platinum. Released at the end of 2022, his previous album Vastustamaton became the best-selling album of the year in under two months, also winning Emma Awards for Album of the Year and Hip Hop Album of the Year.
