One of the most exciting debuts at next summer’s Provinssi festival is undoubtedly indie-folk sensation helmi marleena! The debut single Kevätjuhla by this singer-songwriter, who represents a fresh wave of musicians, won Radio Finland’s Levylautakunta competition in April 2025, and in May, YleX named her Artist of the Month in its Nosteessa program. Her second single, Syntymämerkit, also made it onto national radio, climbing impressively to number 26 on the Finnish Top 50 chart.
Through her music, Marleena’s folk ballads combine poetic lyrics and authentic stories, gently guiding the listener through sensitivity and heartache.
