Hildá Länsman ja Tuomas Norvio

Hildá Länsman & Tuomas Norvio build a unique soundscape where Sámi folk meets modern electronic music. Länsman, who hails from Ohcejohka, is a yoiker and musician whose work is strongly based on nurturing Sámi culture. Sound designer, composer and producer Norvio, on the other hand, brings layered sounds that exude urban sensitivity to the whole.

The duo’s music moves seamlessly between the past and the future, the fells and the clubs. Their debut album Dajan, released in 2025, describes their collaboration as a dialogue between tradition and technology. The album was awarded the Etno Emma Award of the Year 2026.

Live, the duo is known for their energetic and surprising performances, where improvisation keeps the intensity constantly present. They have been seen at selected international showcase festivals, such as WOMEX, by:Larm, ESNS and Tallinn Music Week.
