The heavier lineup of Provinssi is complemented by Icelandic Múr, who combines progressive metal and post metal in their music. Múr, who describes himself as a wall of sound and emotions, follows the great messengers of volcanic metal with his massive and atmospheric works. The band members, who have known each other since school days and studied jazz, founded Múr in 20218 and participated in the heavyweight newcomer band competition Wacken Metal Battle in 2021, won in their home country and placed fourth in the international competition.
