Pushing the boundaries of electronic pop, Ruusut will be conquering several milestones in the coming months: the band will release new music, play the biggest headline show of its career at Black Box, and bring a bold dialogue between distortion and sensitivity to Törnävä. Comprised of Ringa Manner, Miikka Koivisto, and Samuli Kukkola, Ruusut is especially known for its bold aesthetic and its ability to stretch the limits of the pop genre. The band’s output seamlessly alternates between pop and electronic music, distortion and delicacy, as well as orchestral and cinematic soundscapes. Ruusut has a phenomenal ability to bring arrangements to life by combining immediate interpretation with strong visual elements, creating massive yet sensitive live moments.
